Last Saturday morning I bent down to pick up my kids’ toys and…

… I couldn’t get back up. Those of you that ever had back problems know what I’m talking about. It completely knocked me out. I’ve never really had any back problems before, just a couple of times years ago, but not this severe.

At first I didn’t even think it’d be that bad, just thought it was a muscle spasm or something, plus I had to go somewhere, and when I got back 2 hours later, I barely made it out of the car.

Well, 5 days later, I’m still bent out of shape (literally), my daughter says I walk like an old man, and slowly getting back into the groove of things. And this is after I went to a chiropractor, which helped a lot.

These last 5 days reminded me of some important things, and thus the reason I wanted to share it with you.

As I laid there for the 1st couple of days without getting hardly anything done, it got me thinking about other people who have chronic back problems and other issues, that have to get up and go to work every day no matter what.

I mean there are only so many sick days you can take.

And I thought about the fact that fortunately I have a business doesn’t require me to be there 100% of the time. Now of course I have to do things, and some things only I can do in my business and no one else…

… BUT if I can’t get to it for a day or so, it’s no big deal most of the time.

And even with the work I have to do, the commute is a few feet into my “home office”.

No driving anywhere.

I can sit at the computer for short periods of time and take as many breaks as I want or need to.

Last time I had a back problem, which wasn’t as severe, was years ago when I was in my old business, where I too had some freedom, BUT I still had to go see clients and my income was directly tied to sitting down with people, and I didn’t have the luxury to sit around for a week at home, while STILL making money.

As you’re reading this I want you to ask yourself, if you’re ever in this situation, and I promise you at some point an issue will come up. It may not be a back problem, maybe a family member will need you by their bedside for days at a time or something like that… do you have the flexibility in your job/career/business to do that?

If not, I urge to do something about it now.

As a matter of fact, TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

That is YOU are running out of time.

I don’t want to get all philosophical on your here, but it’s true, every day, you have ONE DAY LESS TO LIVE.

So if you’re not moving closer to creating the life you want, what are you waiting for?

The right time?

Ok, I know this post is a little different than most of my rants, and it’s probably all this laying around and thinking I’ve been doing, but I know out 20,000+ people who get my email, it will strike a chord with someone.

So if you haven’t gotten started yet, don’t wait, because time’s running out.

Ok, it’s 2010, sounds like some date from a science fiction movie, doesn’t it?

If you want to make this your greatest year and break through new income barriers, then here’s what you need to do.

1. Write down your goals. (don’t just casually do it, really think about what you want this year to be for you and what you want to achieve_

2. Put together a plan of what you will DO to hit your goal(s). It’s ok if you don’t know the exact steps yet. So write down WHAT you’ll need to learn, what skills to acquire to accomplish it.

Look if you’re lacking some skill, say you’re not good in marketing, or ppc, or writing ads, then learn it. Get a book or a course on it and just do it.

3. Think and visualize your goal daily. Ok, there’s not enough room for me to write down ALL the benefits of doing it. But you need to trust me on this. If you reaffirm your goal by visualizing and dwelling on it, you’re programming your subconscious mind for it’s attainment.

4. Go do it. Take action daily. Regardless of how small the steps are, each step brings you closer to your goals. There’s 365 days in a year. If you make one little tiny improvement daily, think of how much you’ll accomplish 1 year from today. But don’t wait, it’s already the 8th.

So there you go. Write it down.  Put together a plan. Think about it and visualize it. And then go do it.

What an amazing 3 months it’s been.

I’ve been so busy, making money and traveling that time just flew by…

Really.

Today is April 17th, and so far this year I’ve spent a week in the Dominican Republic, went on a 7 Day Royal Caribbean Cruise (for free), and just got back from Daytona Beach, Florida, spending a week there at the beach and going to Orlando Sea World, etc….

Just a few years ago I used to dream about being able to take off like that and not worry about business.  The fact that I DELIBERATELY PLANTED those seeds in my mind, is why it’s a reality that I live today.

There’s no magic here. What you think about you bring about.

You can truly have everything you want out of life, and in this blog I give you all my thoughts and ideas, on how I make it happen.

And another thing, DON’T buy into this recession crap, that it’s so hard now.

Yes, the economy is not at it’s peak now, but don’t listen to the doom and gloom crowd and false propaganda that the media portrays.

Last month on our way back from the cruise, we were on a flight from Miami to Detroit, and it was packed. Both ways too. The tickets were over $500 per person (rediculous), and yet it was packed. They had to ask 2 people to give up their seats for $300 voucher.

There were 7 other cruise ships sailing at the same time with (that’s what I saw) and they were packed too.

When we were on St. Thomas all I saw was an island packed with tourists.

Just last week we drove from Daytona Beach to Orlando to Sea World. It usually takes an hour. It took us 2 hours just to get to the International Drive, where Sea World, that’s how much traffic there was just going into Orlando.

But that’s not all, it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive 1.2 miles to enter the Sea World parking lot (which by the way is the part with the least amount of people as compared to the Disney Theme Parks or Universal Studios, so I can’t even imagine what was going on there).

Guys, is this a crisis?

I’ve been to Orlando more times than I can remember, and I’ve NEVER seen this many people or this much traffic.

This doesn’t look like a crisis. Of course it could be that all those people lost their jobs and decided to go on vacation

You experience what you choose to see.

Most see crisis, recession, hard times, and struggle.

I choose to see abundance and opportunity, which by the way is everywhere.

I’m so busy with projects, I have to start cutting back on what I’m taking on, it just keeps rolling in. This is why I’ve been absent from this blog for the last couple of months.

But now I’m restructing how I do things, I’m starting to do a lot of outsourcing, and you will see a whole lot more from me.

I want you to experience the things I have. When you start believing it, you’ll start seeing it in your life.
