Right now is the BEST time to “Recession-Proof” your business and your income.
In spite of the fact that the economy currently is in a downward spiral, there’s never been a better time to build your business from home.
During times like these more and more opportunities arise. People are in a mode of saving money, so if you can come up with something that is of value to the marketplace you can build a very solid business.
Today I’m going to give you 3 reasons why I believe right now is the best time to start an online business from home.
Reason #1:
In my opinion the biggest market right now are people that are looking for opportunities.
I’ve been involved in several businesses and dealing with people that are looking for a business or something to do on the side. And during an economic boom of the 90′s, people were a lot less open than they are today. Job security wasn’t even on most people’s minds. Of course I’ve always believed that there’s no such thing as job security, nevertheless the overwhelming majority of the population was pretty content.
It’s not like that anymore. People are losing jobs, and the ones that aren’t know that they could. I live in Michigan, probably the worst economy in U.S. right now, largely due to the automotive industry. And people today are realizing that maybe they should do something different. They’re looking and they’re searching. So if you have something to offer them that can truly put money in their pocket or help them with finding a business, right now is the time.
Over the last few years, the majority of the money I made online was in information marketing, selling to the entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

The next reason why I think right now is the BEST time to start a home business, because it’s easy.
A few years back, it wasn’t as easy to start an online business as it is today.
You can go to a company like www.StartLogicPro.com and for about $5 a month get a website.
Then you can set up a way to capture your visitors contact information and start building a list with a service from www.AweberStart.com for under $20 a month. You don’t need to know any programming or anything about technology, they have video tutorials that show you how to set it all up. And if you still don’t want to do that, you can find someone on Elance and pay them a few dollars to set it all up for you.
Even if you don’t have a merchant account to accept credit cards, you can use PayPal to accept every major credit card, without paying any monthly fees to them.
So literally for under $25 a month you’ve got your business running. And anyone can do that.
Reason #3:
The third reason why I believe right now is the BEST time to start, is simply because there have been so many people that have done it, there are proven ways to do it.
10 years ago, internet marketing was a new frontier. No one knew how to use Pay Per Click (don’t worry if you don’t that). There were no marketing courses that teach you internet marketing strategies that actually work. Today we have plenty of reources at our disposal. Some free and some you have to pay for, but they’re there. All you have to do is take it and apply it.
