I think if you pay close attention to what I’m about to say…
IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
This was back in the spring of 2005. And I had a series of events that have happened to me that completely changed my life.
Let me tell you about one of them.
I was still working hard in my old financial business. At that time, I’ve already spent almost 10 years in that business, read plenty of books, always believed in personal development, was in my own business, BUT I was pretty
frustrated, because I was stuck.
* I knew what I wanted…
* I was pretty positive and optimistic…
* I was doing better than most (making money, winning incentive trips to the most exotic resorts in the world, getting all kinds of trophies and awards…)
… yet, I wasn’t really making the kind of money I wanted. I didn’t have the time freedom that I was so desperately seeking.
And to be perfectly honest, I didn’t like most of the people that I had to deal with, but it was necessary to go through enough of "those" type of people to get to the ideal clients or agents I wanted to have.
Well you see I realized, although not at the time, but sometime later that you CAN’T do something you don’t really like or enjoy and deal with the people you don’t like and yet be happy and excited and most importantly fulfilled.
Right around that time I was told about a local seminar with Bob Proctor. I’ve heard the name, but didn’t really know much about Bob at the time.
The presentation was called, "The Science of Getting Rich". As I already mentioned, I’ve read a lot of books and have been studying success principles for almost 10 years at the time, so I really didn’t expect hear anything new, but being a student of success I decided to go anyway.
It was the most revealing 3 hours of my life, that really opened my mind and have changed my paradigm on business and making money forever.
Again, keep in mind that I was already doing well, have read dozens of books on success, even trained my agents on how to develop the right mindset for their business.
Looking back on that seminar, there was ONE very specific thing that Bob said that caused me to shift my paradigm, which was that I could be making money with ways that I haven’t even thought were possible.
That I could have MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME which I can create that can pour money into my bank account 24/7, but I won’t get’em until I let go of the old paradigm I had.
What that meant for me was, that I was "boxed in" with my thinking. I was solely focused on making money with the ONE business I kept beating my head against the wall for almost 10 years at the time.
And I didn’t even notice the other opportunities that were right in front of me where I could do EXACTLY what Bob has described.
Now I don’t know your situation and where you come from, but I can guarantee with 100% certainty, that regardless of what you do and what you make, you too in a way are "boxed in" to a certain way of thinking on how YOU can make money.
See I’ve made as much as $10,000 with ONE client in my old business, but came with LOTS of work, lots of follow up, typically over an extended period of time.
I haven’t even given any thought to making $10,000 sitting at home from clients I didn’t know, without making any calls or sales presentations, and (this was a biggie for me) without having to recruit and train people to do it
(’cause you gotta hold their hand and keep motivating them)
Long story short, within 6 months of that seminar, I was basically on my way out of that business… and the rest is history.
So let me ask you, is there a paradigm or a belief that you have that maybe holding you back on what YOU think is possible?
See, you can read all the books and listen to all the cd’s in the world, (and I do recommend it)…
… BUT, until you change your deep held beliefs and until you shift your paradigm and change YOUR "reality" about money, business, and what is possible for you, my friend you will always be stuck… just like I was.
